Man, will I ever get to read this thing?

I want to read minis like this in one sitting, so that moments have their
dramatic effects more powerfully. Anyway, I ended up getting stationed in
Korea and missed the last two issues. When I got back to the states I
couldn't find them for awhile. finally, a couple months ago I came across
them (and the stellar Darkseid/Galactus book) and snatched them up
immediately and got ready for some Byrne goodness. By the time I
assembled all the issues from my boxes, I realized I lost issue 3 somehow!
And none of the stores around have it!

Cripes!

I'm sure it will get collected at some point James.  There are trades of Generations 1 and 2, so eventually DC will get around to it.  They've been putting out trades of JB's work, with the release of JB's Superman trades, so this has to be coming at some point.....right?

One of reasons I took so long in tracking down 11 and 12. I'm of the belief
now that they're not going to collect this thing, unfortunately.

If Captain Carrot is being collected, then there is hope....

Was there anything about Diana and Jordan's combined death scene that indicated the two were involved?

Andrew, I know. For some reason, ordering just a single issue of a book
feels like a waste as the shipping will equal the cost of the magazine.

James, where in Korea were you satationed?

I was in Mangaday, at Camp Indian (no longer there), about a mile from Camp Stanley, down the road from Uijongbu, on the northern side/slope of Surak San.

Favortie English word in Korea that we do not use here was:

BUTT WHORE

Because they were butt ugly.

So they say.

I prefer not to make such judgements.

When the second issue came out, people were already complaining that they "couldn't see" Darkseid's face.

*****

Did they even realize then what it was they weren't seeing?  I remember knowing that "something" was going to be part of the covers but not learning until around issue 5 that it was supposed to be Darkseid's face.
