Having done recreations and reimaginings of my old covers, I got to wondering what might happen if I used the old cover as the layout, and then finished it as I would today.

This is the result. 11x17 (27x43cm)

It looks very dynamic, and Dark Phoenix appears (if possible) even more demented than she did on the original.
