Why not Green Arrow and Bullseye?

Or Hawkeye and the Human Target?

Those are 2 team-ups I'd love to see!!!

Has anyone ever requested a specific arrow-head: ie Boxing glove?  Would that be too specific a request?

This is my fave Green Arrow commission yet!

JB: "Raising what is, to me, the Eternal Question: why crossovers with characters who are essentially the same?"

Sure, they both shoot arrows, but JB, if you could pick any point during their careers, say, when Oliver Queen was still a rich playboy ... wouldn't that be an interesting contrast with Clint Barton, a performer from a two-bit carny, whose first name would never have been allowed in a DC comic edited by the late Julius Schwartz?

Comes down to what these crossovers are all about. In today's comics, where someone can spend a whole page falling out of bed, I suppose a crossover could be wasted on personalities. But that seems awfully, awfully small. doesn't it?

I prefer crossovers where the characters are different as well.

Best crossover ever: "The Hunger". Which provides a set up of equal measures of like and unlike, to my mind. Both Galactus & Silver Surfer and Darkseid, Apokalips & the New Gods are so clearly cosmic Kirby, but at the same time Darkseid's villainy and the entire set up of Fourth Wolrd is far from the lonesome creation of Galactus and his herald.
Anyway, JB really created a story here that feels so right on o so many levels. And in the end it really doesn't feel like a croosover at all, which I guess is how it should really be, somehow.

JB, have you ever drawn Green Arrow in his original costume?

Sorry for missing this question, Mike. Yes, I drew GA in his original outfit in
GENERATIONS.

I'd love to see a commission of a beardless GA in his original outfit.  Anyone ?

Talk about a costume revamp that worked!  The original GA seems to me just the embryo of the bearded one.

BTW, IIRC GA and Hawkeye wear similar gloves...is that something archers wear or just comic book cross-pollination?

I never actually understood what the "holes" in the gloves were for, but then, I never quite understoof why an archer would wear gloves.  Wouldn't that affect one's shot?
