Lots of scans this week, with the main story, a subplot building, and the back-up origin!  I still feel like I'm leaving a ton out.  Oh well, more incentive to find these issues for new readers, I hope.

A nice day in the life of the twins (normal as it can be for those two, I guess) goes horribly wrong and we meet two new characters here and next issue I wish JB had revisited at some point.  Alec Thorne was far too under used, it's too bad he didn't come back later in the series.  I would have liked to find out if he was as smart as he thinks he is.

Snowbird's origin further cements the ties that bind the characters and story together.  Good stuff, all around.

Now that I think about it, I guess I did get my wish about Thorne a few issues down the line.  Smart, but not smart enough.

Weak cover with bad coloring. Blue hair?? LIGHT blue hair?? sigh

Some pretty bad letterpress printing, this issue, too. Plus, my experiment
with the Japanese brush-pens was starting to show its weaknesses.

Nelvanna is not one of my invented characters, btw. She is a "real" Inuit
goddess, and my choosing her as Snowbird's mother was a little nod to the
legendary Canadian Whites -- black and white comics published in Canada
during the foriegn publications embargo of WW2.
