I love when I see the REAL Captain America. And no one draws the REAL Cap like JB!

Un-Believ-able!
Perfectly captures Cap. Rubble. Byrne!(first reactions) Just as a note I like the 'rounded' musculature
as well. The anatomy and postures are flawless. You make
it look so easy!
I prefer the thin-strand webbing over the spaghetti, but
love how Spidey is holding the length of slack in his hands
like that. Definitive depictions of all three.
Carnegie Hall be damned, HOW do you do that!?!

Best Spider-Man artist ever, in my humble opinion!
I love this commisssion because it has an "old school" feel, too.

After staring at it some more, I must say again that I
love the way you render Cap's shield. The white stripe
in a 'flat paint' really works. Great choice. Subtle but brilliant.
"...old school feel..." -very true. Well done JB.

Maybe it's me, but if you open the link to the completed image that Christos posted, I swear it looks like Cap's eyes are looking at Hyde, but if you magnify the image then Caps' eyes are looking at Spider-Man, as in John's original post. Freaky.

Awesome, simply awesome. Thank you Christos for "stitching" together the larger scans. It's much appreciated!

Nice to see a different villain. Always good to see a Byrne Captain America (and Spider-Man too).
