The only reason the Avengers commission is my favorite is because they're my favorite team -- ALL of these are INCREDIBLE.

The Beast making funny faces with his face pushed up against the glass is priceless.

Very nice piece. I think what I like best about it is the composition. There's
Fury, way over on the left, but clearly the center of interest, as everything
contrives to draw your eye to him. This p. is an object lesson in composition
for the tyro comic artist.

I know you design these for b&w, not color, JB, but I can see where a colorist
who doesn't know what he or she is doing could really throw things off.

Now we need to see Madam Hydra . . .

Sigh.

I wanna work for S.H.I.E.L.D. My job is nowhere near this cool.

Wow!

If that were a movie poster, people would go see the picture.

wow...Bravo JB for the execution and James for the idea for the 'series'.  You have probably four of my Top Ten JB commissions.

Love how 'Kyrbesque' the Helicarrier looks in this one...

This is my kind of commission. Swanky cool 70s spy action and Nick Fury.

Holee...! Really  spectacular John. And the entire layout is balanced so perfectly. Absolutely demonstrates how creative and experienced you are handling any character or background thrown at you.

Fury may not top my list of fav Marvel characters but this piece by itself makes me want to go read some of those S.H.E.I.L.D. reprints.

plan, et voila!...

Well, then thank you, JB, for that (and, of course, for sharing the art with all of us to begin with)! And thanks to Christos for uploading it.
