Just typing to say both commissions today are particularly excellent!!! And this one is so crisp and clean, I love it.

What a cool commission idea.  I really like the way her face is drawn.

Yeah, I really like the eyes and face.

I initially thought that this was some variant of Wonder Girl.  I guess I was totally oblivious to this alternate reality.

Nice commission.

One of the good things in Byrnes art is the fact that he can draw diverse, realistic proportioned women. Pretty rare in superhero comics.

When I first glanced at the illustration I thought it was a rendition of Wonder Girl.  I think this illustration of Wonder Woman is really good.  I like the costume a lot.

Not familiar with the source, I thought it might be a Wonder Girl too. I
really like the rendition. Most of all I like how the bizarre mullet was
turned into a flattering hairstyle.

That Wonder Girl costume is a work of art. Did Nick Cardy design it?

I didn't pick up on the Justice Lords connection either. I much prefer that costume to Diana's regular outfit. I reckon it's way past time that DC redesigned the Wonder Woman costume to a more contemporary, less sexist outfit.

I think they should get rid of Superman's "underpants on the outside" look too!

JB's image, as noted, is the Justice Lords' Wonder Woman. The Superman in white is not the electric Superman, as claimed elsewhere; it's Kal-El wearing a new costume. Ditto Batman.

The Justice Lords were a "cautionary tale" for the Justice League, who discovered that these counterparts had become fascistic dictators in their world because of a very specific turning point/event. It was The Question who discovered the relationship between the Justice Lords and the Justice League.

If you haven't watched JLU (especially Season One) yet, you're missing out.
