William Roberge:  arms akimbo = stance, with the arms on the hips and elbows turned outwards.

That's a terrific Thing.

It seems a departure from the "Starfish" model, however. It is more Kirbyish in the sense that the major joints like shoulders and knees and masses like the pectorals don't disappear under the "dinosaur" plates.

Anyway, I like it. The owner's going to be proud to have it on a wall.

Just noticed the scally signature border: clever! Can we anticipate a bat border in the near future?

I love it.  I prefer the Thing to be very filled out, like this, opposed to when artists draw him leaner.
