I always loved the way you portrayed the Griffin in Namor JB. I've read a few of his earlier appearances and he's just not so nearly as interesting - or as well-drawn!

Amazing piece. My first exposure to Griffin was through JB's Namor.

I liked the Griffin as Namor's "pet," but preferred seeing him fly under his
own power.

As far as the commission goes... WOW!

JB, the Griffin was a pretty obscure character...what gave you the idea to use him in Namor?
