I really love this piece. The pose is subtle yet still conveys how bad-ass Wolverine is.

I'm not a big Wolverine fan, but this has always been the best representation of him.  I never like the gold and blue costume.  When JB introduced this costume in the Wendigo storyline I was so happy.  I felt like all of the X-Men's costumes finally fit the characters (I felt that way about the Dark Phoenix costume too).

This really is an awesome piece!

Glad to see someone else request Wolverine in his brown costume....it's the only one that makes sense!

Though standing still, he is like a spring, ready to pounce. I'd stay back from him, but is any distance safe? The smirk is perfect. The look on his face is worth the commission alone.

Question for JB, I have noticed you now tend to make the mask with sharp
angles in commissions, what prompted the style change?

Add me to those who liked how JB's Wolverine properly looked short,
something that seemed lost on many later artists.

Reminds me of this piece:

I really like the idea of seeing the "Marvel Universe Handbook" type poses in the updated style.  I'd love to see Hulk get this treatment.
