Thanks for the updated comparison graphic, JB. That and pictures like the one above with you and Jim and the artwork, very much help me to get a sense of scale to these things.  And the sense I'm getting is making me sort of giddy, I have to confess.  The live scale of these things are so easy to forget when one just enjoy them in here on-line.

So I finally read a trade of the KREE/SKRULL WAR.  I can safely say it did not live up to my expectations.  Can't really say I've ever read an AVENGERS story I truly loved, I hoped this might be the one.  As JB stated in this thread I found it to be rather disjointed.  Some truly iconic images and moments but Neal Adams does his typical sometimes I'm here, sometimes I'm not, sometimes I show up for half an issue thing.

BUT....having read the comic I can now proclaim that JB nailed it in this commission!  An amazing fusion of the key scenes and characters from the story.  The Supreme Intelligence is a great looking character and JB's version looks just as good as Neal's or Big John's.

Hmmm. Looking at this piece for the first time in quite a while, I find myself thinking that may be one of my best drawings of the Thing.

Pity it's a rassa-frassin' SKRULL!!

Just six years, JB.  They are moving quick, but don't help 'em!
