I'm curious if there was any kind of influence from Warner Brother's cartoons
on your work? I say that because reading the above selected pages, which I
haven't taken out of my longbox in years, I get flashbacks to that Daffy
Duck cartoon where he's talking to his animators in a voice very similar to
the one Jen is using to talk to you.
••
BIG influence. "Duck Amok" is one of my all time favorite cartoons.

I JUST noticed that She-Hulk is crumpling the cover, thus the logo and corner box get distorted! What a cool touch!

Great issue. I'm a huge fan of the Looney Tunes and loved how this played along the same lines as "Duck Amuck", one of the more brilliant cartoons ever created.

And I just read the issues of FF that introduced Mahkismo (which would be more of a coincidence if we were talking about #38, I suppose, but still).
I know those aliens from Dimension Z are from one of the old Silver Age books, but I can't remember which one. Probably a Hank Pym or Human Torch story. Anyone want to remind me?

I'm pretty sure it was Tales to Astonish 49 - The first appearance of Giant-Man.
