I asked Renee to send me several full sized stats of the "setup" (the logo and
attendant imagery) and I sliced them up and pasted them onto the board.
Then I added the wrinkles with ink.

Question for JB:

Between the crumpled-up logo and the not-so-subtle jab at Marvel's top 3 guest-stars of the early '90s, how much did you have to fight to get this cover approved?  I would imagine you must have caught some amount of flack for this...!

Odd....so the Liefeld dig a few issues back gets edited out, but this one remains?

For the record, John--I'm part of the proud 50 percent of Alpha Flight readers who ended up LOVING that white-out issue with Snowbird...
