I have this one. Is amazing!

Exposition!.... The world would be a lot of fun and sexy if we were to do some more "Exposition"...   :D

Ron - Duoshade is a type of bristol board (the paper the art is drawn on)
which already has patterns pre-printed on the board. You apply special
chemicals to reveal the patterns where you want them.

That is DuoShade, Brian! There were several different patterns, and this
was one of the more "organic" ones.

Wow. Has had me fooled for well over a decade now. Really like it.

I suspect that the view of JB's studio is more accurate than what we see of
the editor's office, though!

••

They're equally accurate.

Thanks, Ed!

I don't know much about art, but I know what I like -- JB's work, of course!

That second panel on page 10 is great!

Actually (!!) I just noticed this morning that that panel is a good example of
why an artist really has to pay attention when inking something that is
supposed to be "upside down". I turned the page 180° to draw that panel,
and notice I made an all too common mistake -- Jen's hair is still hanging
"down".

It's such a nice shot that it somehow doesn't trigger those "incorrect" bells though.  I could even write off her hair, since it's so long, is trapped between her neck/chest/shoulders but she would have to be really sweaty for her bangs to be not laying across her wrist in that shot.  Really strong hairspray!  Yeah, that's the ticket.  You're off the hook JB.
