Well, this certainly makes for interesting questions regarding the future...

For one thing, Disney's publishing arm really likes to have books completed and in the can 6 months prior to publication.

Edited to re-paste link.

Edited a second time to note that when I re-pasted the link (which worked at the time, no longer works. Screw you, New York Times. Just Google "NY Times Marvel Disney"

Link doesn't work.

I found one that might help here.

Maybe we'll get less porn art and less grim books...

Maybe we'll get JB back at Marvel. That's about the only thing to get me interested in Marvel once more.

There's hope.  Maybe Scrooge McDuck can beat Norman Osborn.

Looks like Marvel can't make the "AOL Comics" cracks anymore since they now have a parent company.

Good thing Uncle Walt's not still around. Suddenly, the Red Skull would be retconned as their greatest hero.

Hopefully another great reason to make a trip to a Disney theme park, which are already outstanding destinations.  I wonder how this will affect the movies Marvel has scheduled to come out over the next few years.

Hmm.  Marvel's biggest gun, theatrically at least, is still "owned" by Sony; its second, X-Men is "owned" by Fox.  I wonder how long those licenses last.  Very interesting development.
