That's IRON MAN, all right! Probably the character's best shot to date!

This is one pyramid scheme I would gladly fall for.

The detail on the pyramid is gorgeous!!! I love the steps in the distance and how they show how high they are and the vines giving it a cool jungle feel. It is so weird, I get an uneasy feeling looking at this, because I am freaked the battle going on, is going to cause major damage to the pyramid. I love how art work can evoke such feelings.

Whoever got this, is very lucky.

Yeow.  Looks like Hawkeye's gonna have a stiff neck for a month if he gets out of this...

Wow wow wow! Gorgeous! There are a few things in particular I really love about this one - 1. The really successful reflective shine on both Iron Man and Ultron - you always do a great job with metal, but you've outdone yourself here. 2. The Mayan temple is amazing looking. 3. I love that you can tell Ultron and Iron Man are shooting different plasmas or whatever it is - Ultron's blast has a sparking bubbly plasma looking strike and Iron Man's looks more 'explosive' for lack of being able to think of a better adjective at the moment, and, finally I love how you've played with the perspective - perhaps that's why Jodi feels uneasy looking at it - unless I am mistaken that Pyramid would actually be laying on its side or tipped at a very steep angle in relation to the others, but you make it work. Bravo! I am very envious of the owner of this one.

oh yah, why are they on a Mayan temple? Is there a story behind that or just makes for a cool looking location?

Incredible. And one of the best Iron Man shots ever. Incredibly jealous of whoever commissioned this!

Really amazing piece, JB.  I love the detail on the pyramid and statue.  Was it your idea or the commissioner's to use this background.  This piece reminds me of how much I enjoyed your run on the West Coast Avengers.

Who is your favorite Avengers villain?

JB, what line-up comes to mind when you think of the Avengers?

••

Having been there from Day One, I have to say Thor, Iron Man, Wasp, Ant/Giant Man and Captain America!

===

Who is your favorite Avengers villain?

••

Tough call!    They don't really have a Doctor Doom or Magneto of their own. Kang, maybe?

===

Was it your idea or the commissioner's to use this background.

••

The request was for an "organic" background, and the customer suggested the Mayan temple motif, or the grounds of Avengers Mansion.

 QUOTE:
So, if adamantium is truly supposed to beindestructible, then it should be indestructible, no matter who or what is unleashed against it.

How do you personally see it?  Could any hero as you see them break adamantium as you conceive of it?  If so, who could do it?
