This is one of the best Avengers commissions I've seen.

Awesome!

JB is Hawkeye dead in that Pic? Looks like Ultron snapped his neck!

Hi,

Just saying they way Ultron is holding Hawkey it almost looks like his neck is snapped.

Robert,

I don't think a dead Clint could continue to hold his bow...

Congrats Peter!  You got a super awesome commission.

One of my first thoughts was that Captain America is going to have some bruises after getting that blast and the fall to come (well more the landing).

Thanks, I certainly do. Cannot wait to get my hands on the real thing and pore over every detail. And then do a little dance like Golem with the Ring at the end of The Return of the King. Mine! All Mine!

I digress...

I think the only downside is that I want to see what happens next. Cap bouncing back... She-Hulk destroying some art (the Philistine)... Hawkeye pulling out some special arrow to get himself out of trouble (he certainly has a far too lively expression on his face to be dead... and his neck doesn't look at all broken).

Seriously, JB, it's a wonder that you're not constantly being solicited to do spot illustrations for architectural and/or historical magazines - that pyramid is just mind-boggling in its feel of authenticity.  Would you be open to such work, were it offered to you?

As always, it would depend on the nature of the work being offered.

Magnificent - and another valuable lesson in the use of perspective grids, with a bonus tutorial on vegetation thrown in! This must be a mind blower at full size. Cheers, chief - and glad you had a nice holiday, too.
