I'll be very interested to find out how the customer came to select this particular conglomeration!

I want to know who they're about to pound into - whoever it was has made that NYC street look like a Canadian back road in April...

What a way to fill the page! I like the way each character is positioned so that his/her body and limbs fill the space without overlapping those of other "Odd Squad" members. Was this your first request for Power Man, JB?

Yeah that is a good cast of characters there.  Someone "off screen" is going to get a beat down it would seem.

Another really neat thing is the way the dark areas of the male figures' costumes are drawn so that they don't get lost against the dark backdrop of buildings.

I don't care who they're going up against - that villain is in TROUBLE.

Dang, JB´s DAREDEVIL is achieving mythical status!

On some parallel Earth, Byrne did DD, Miller did Thor (which I´d definitely like to see) and Simonson did the FF...wait...

Surprisingly, the first opponent I thought of was... Sinestro! Hmmm... The Sinister Six seems more suitable.

Wallace - My own commission "Part 4" had not only Power Man but also Iron Fist and Spider-man!

I wonder if I get an extra year added on to my JBF membership for that kind of "inspiration".  =)

Cool commission.  That would be a Defenders team I'd love to see.  Especially as done by JB.

The balance between the lights and darks is done very well on this commission.....IMHO.

I just love the cars.  Can't help it.  I love JB's architectural design.
-----edit
One day I'll own a piece of JB's that's just buildings and cars.

That is quite a team there! If there was an actual issue with this team, I'd definitely read it. Congratulations to the commissioner.

Great piece and a very interesting team-up.  Love the old school look and attitude.  Hopefully we'll see it framed up. Nice piece, thanks for sharing.

I'm getting a feeling of this taking place near the Grand Central Terminal Park Avenue Viaduct in NYC going northbound.

••

I so often see "old school" used as a pejorative by the Kno-Nothings, that I sort of twitch even when I see it used as a compliment!

Incidentally, this piece brings Luke Cage up to the (totally arbitrary) three-appearance minimum needed to earn a line on the Commissions Count…

(And, yeah, I know Marrina and Talisman got on with only two! Why do you s'pose THAT was?)
