Once again, JB's anatomy amazes me. The effect of Jean's outstretched arms on her chest is spot on!

Yes, Stephane. I turn 30 in less than two weeks and I figured this would be a nice gift to myself. As big a fan of JB's FF run that I am, I'm also an X-Men fan at heart.

Sweet, no Emma and Ororo? I always like seeing Emma done right since her transformation.

Oh, HELL, I miss JB's X-Men; I'd still be buying it if he was on the book... I have to agree with everyone who has commented on the lighting effect you've achieved, chief; I almost felt like I had to shield my eyes! Brilliant (pun only slightly intended)!

Nice!
Congratulations, Jeremiah. Even if you are making me feel old by pointing out that you weren't born when this issue was on the stands!

You've outdone yourself, JB - literally! The original is one of my favorite covers, and you've improved it.
I've been reading the Dark Phoenix Saga via the wonderful new hardback. I know, I know - yet another reprinting. But I love this story so much that I have accidentally become a collector of the trade paperbacks. I wore out the early ones, and the newer ones had bonus stuff and better printing. This is a landmark run for me and I think it looks wonderful. Good to have it in the bigger format.
Great commission idea, Jeremiah!
