Beautiful work JB. I've always loved Kiity when you created here. Her beautiful big eyes always show a sense of wonder.

I like this very much. I like the Angel's Adams costume contrasting with Kitty's original X-Man uniform. I love the position of the wings and Kitty phasing through the wings. Very nice commission. Thanks for sharing.

Great-great-great piece!!! Destined to be an all-time favorite!

Congratulations to whoever the happy commissioner is.

Looking at this, it makes me wish MARVEL had brought in a John Byrne
clone to do the X-Men after our host left the book. THIS is what the X-
MEN should always look like.

For some reason I can't quite put my finger on, I'm getting a nice Steve-Ditko-as-inked-by-John-Byrne vibe from this one.  Good stuff!

Whoo-doggy! I love it. I really wish we could have had a chance to see your Kitty for longer than we did.

I like the youthful wonder you've captured in Kitty's wide eyes.

Well said Martin, that is exactly why I liked her, I could relate to her.

Perhaps it's just my monitor, but the inks on Kitty's face reminds me of Jerry Ordway. somehow looks different than standard JB to me, but I still like it!

Warren looks great but I immediately thought him less of an X-Man than a CHAMPION, which is kinda weird.
(I always felt that he should've led that team rather than the obvious choice of Black Widow)

Looks great, JB!

This is a little off-topic, but I have always been a little bit confused about Kitty's powers.  As I understand it, she "phases" by slipping through the open spaces of an object's atoms.  But does she also become weightless?

Seeing this bring me back to better times in terms of who these characters were.  Even though JB didn't draw Kitty for very long, his design of the character resounds strongly to this very day.

I'm glad I can check in almost every weekend and see a new commission by JB. His art is in top form as always and if Marvel ever gets its act together they should throw JB a ton of money to publish his Marvel commissions in a huge hardcover. It would almost be guaranteed to sell well.

Read the title and guessed it was Dan Garrett and Ted Kord . . .
