Having spent the last few weeks wrapping up NEXT MEN and the first issue of COLD WAR, I thought I'd devote this week to catching up on some commissions. Here's the first.

Approx. 11x17 inches

Very cool!  I've been reading a lot of Spider-Man these days, and it's always good to see a JB rendering.  You get him just right every time!

Interesting trio for this one - three characters that JB did solo titles for, coming together for a team-up.  Nice idea!

Fun thread title!

••

Originally, I thought to title this thread "Of Webs, Waves and Wall-Breaking", but then I named the file SM.SH.SM and realized what these three REALLY have in common!

Great! If I have to pick a favourite of the lot, it'll have to be Spider-Man. You always draw Spider-Man looking his best.

Excellent!  I love the smirk on Namor's face!  Good to see a commission to pop up.  Looking forward to seeing what you have for us this week, JB!

It's the little things I particularly like here:

The wrinkles at She-Hulk's wrists, Sub-Mariner's swimmer's shoulders, the curve of She-Hulk's right calf in perspective.

And I find fingernails strangely tricky to draw, so digging those as well!

Wow. JB is knocking on John Romita, Sr.'s door with that drawing of Spider-
Man. I really dig this one... and not just because I'm a fan of all three
characters.

That would be a really fun team-up group! Great picture, and congrats to the commissioner for the idea!
