**Excellent!  Who'd've thought Doom could be so menacing just sitting around?**
**Doom is marvelously nonchalant**

it would be cool if Doom were holding a chalace of brandy in the other hand while watching the battle. then again how would he drink it? can't imagine Doom using a straw.

Amazing!  Quite the interesting mix of characters.  Human Torch is really top notch!  Well done, JB!

What a strange but classic pairing of villains.

Love the Doom tech!

Doom makes this one and he's just sitting there smoking. Love the Venom "schematics" on the screen, there. Very nice little detail.

Love what you've done with Sue, as well.

The big thing I really love about seeing these odd mash-ups from you, JB, is that no matter what, you make me want to READ this story.

What a great idea to have Doom watching his handy work from a distance.

Working on this had me flashing back some >gulp< 37 years, to this piece I did for Bob Layton and Roger Stern's fanzine, CPL.

Definitely one of those time when I wish my time machine wasn't in the shop. I'd like to show THAT John Byrne today's piece!

This is easily one of the best pieces of art I have EVER seen.

I think it's time for a regime change at Marvel so we can have JB bring back the characters we all love.
