JB - The way you used to draw  Dr. Doom  can't even hold a candle to how you draw him now.  I vote that there need to be more Dr. Doom commissions!  Oh yeah, and more Galactus and Captain America and Batman and.....

You can tell Doom is evil...'cause he's smoking!

Even with the action depicted as is, still can tell Dr. Doom is the more dangerous foe.  Just gives off a vibe of nobility and evil.  Wonderful depection.  Thanks for sharing.

Byrne -37 years still looks pretty good to me: better than nearly all the new blood comic book efforts I see today.

Honestly, I feel there are plenty of illustrators today that would give their eyeteeth to be able to draw (or even design a composition) that well.

The very least you can say about it is that this Fanzine effort is that shows RESPECT for the characters and their creators.

JB, Even though your current Doom is superior in all ways. You had a great grip on who Doom was even 37 >gulp< years ago.

Wow someone really got their money's worth, interesting pairings. That is the most interesting Venom I've ever seen, but Doom just blows everything else away in this piece. THAT is how you do inking on armor to make it look like metal, there are a multitude of artists who should take lessons on that from this piece.

Another sweet FF piece! Oh how I'd like to see JB do that comic just one more time. Perhaps, mini-series of five or six issues. It would be especially good if the original art pages were 20" x 30". I'm sorry, was I dreaming out loud again?
