I didn't really like how I positioned Thor's hammer here. It doesn't really look like Mjölnir is angled properly with the arc of his swing. The Hammer looks a little skewed in his hand. But otherwise I really like the proportions of Thor versus the Hulk, going back to the proportions of the 70's.

Have at thee, Hulk! Personally, I prefer a larger-proportioned Hulk. I see what you mean about the hammer's angle, but I think it works regardless. Conceptually, I like the idea of a lightning strike delineating the arc of the blow.

Thanks, Peter!  Yeah, as long as I have reference, I can get a likeness down pretty well (you know, like a regular artist!)--it's the comic book stuff that's hard!  : )

Here's a couple more celebrity likenesses I tried (probably the two best out of 100 sketches)--

Thank you, Peter. I really had a lot of fun with the Hulk vs Thor. And to be fair, I cannot say I dislike the larger versions of Hulk.

I have a fondness for Sal Buscema's long run on the Hulk too. He was the artist doing that Hulk when I started reading it around issue #200, when the Hulk was microscopically shrunk down into the brain of Glen Talbot. And I think it was just before that time illustrators started to lean more in the direction of a 'really large' lumbering Hulk, although he was always a big character. Such good memories!

Not drawn exactly, but created this from scratch in Photoshop:
