A separate thread could be a fun idea. First person to find them all wins
a pony!

I like the commission, particularly Thor vs. Juggernaut - I'd pay good money to see that battle!

UNBELIEVABLE, JB!

Thanks so much for sharing it with us.  I know people say it all the time (and I'm sure they mean it as much as me, here) but this really makes me miss those characters!

Wow, just wow! What an incredible gift for young Matt. Love this picture! Great composition, lighting, action--great characters too. I should buy some tape for my socks to keep them from getting them blown off every time I open one of JB's commissions.

Hi Folks,

Sorry for the delay in posting on this very special thread; it was late when Matt and I got back from the Comic Art Con and I did not even go on-line last night!

Firstly, a big and heartfelt THANK YOU to JB for absolutely nailing this commission and completing it in time for Matt to pick it up this past Saturday!

The origins of this commission partly lay in the Marvel Secret Wars toyline as Matt found some of my old figures in a box at home and two of his favorites are Kang and Zemo.  There was no Juggernaut figure, but that is one of Matt's favorite characters from the comics, so when it came time to list list characters for this commission, the villains were an easy choice.  Matt noted that we did not have a JB commission that had a large shot of Spider-Man, so he came up with the idea of having him interacting with Kang.  The Zemo vs. Captain America matchup seemed to be a great fit and having Juggernaut vs. Thor was something we both thought JB would have a lot of fun with.

Needless to say, the finished commission far exceeded our highest hopes and JB including the thirteen Barney's helped make this the "coolest piece of art ever" in Matt's eyes!
