Sadly, I suspect the current people in charge ARE having fun.

(Shudder), What a horrible thought! That's now making me think of a kid intentionally pulling the limbs off an action figure.

Great pic!!! I'm curious about 1 thing though. In the rubble there is a street sign, and the part of it that is visible reads "...oison Avenue". Did you have an actual name for the avenue, as well as where this battle took place?

I like that as the new "rule" on how commissions are distributed!

I always liked Puck.  He was one of those characters who would've been better off left as he was, even if he never made many appearances outside of the original AF comic.  There's just something appealing about a guy who overcomes all sorts of adversity to run with some of the "big dogs"...

One of my "themes" in ALPHA FLIGHT was people overcoming different kinds of handicaps. Puck, Box, Aurora. For reasons that remain a mystery to me, this was one of the first elements Bill set about undoing when he took on the writing. He focused instead on ALPHA being "the book where people die".

Should we assume this image takes place just after the Captain Universe powers left Puck's body?  (winking smiley face)

Great piece.  Fun, energetic, and makes you say "whuh?" in the best kind of way.

"...oison Avenue"

••

That first letter is a D, not an O.
