Not a Thanos fan, but I do like his look. I think the Hulk falls into the same category of Batman and Captain America. In that JB has never drawn any of those characters anything less than perfect.

I agree with Paul in how you handle certain characters, JB.

Also, the person receiving this commission is very lucky!  Nice piece.

This is another incredible piece, JB. I'm not a fan of Thanos, but he looks
great here.

I like Thanos and I LOVE JB's version of him! I agree with Rich, there's no way that you can tell that JB's not much of a fan of the character.

I will say that the inclusion of Cap's shield, Thor's helmet, the Surfer's board and Iron Man's helmet put a bit of a lump in my throat. There's not a current artist at Marvel (with the possible exception of JRjr.) that could get that kind of reaction from me.

Another winner.  I really love seeing She-Hulk in that Fantastic Four costume. I admit I was worried when she filled in for the Thing. But that didn't last long.

I love how you've captured the sheer physical power of all three characters.  I really, REALLY miss you working on these characters.  But to be honest I would hate to see you drawing any of these three as they exist in their books now.  And that is why I love every commission thread.  Not only do I get to see your always superb art, I also have the most enjoyable experience of seeing the heroes and villains in the versions that I love the most! I must start planning a commission of my own!!!!

First time I think of Thanos as being capable of going toe-to-toe with the Hulk. I've never really gotten a sense of Thanos' power levels.

Love the way the commission exactly meets the prescription, down to the order of superhero artifacts.

A few more commissions like this and Avengers 2 might be essentially story boarded!!!
