Always loved Hulk and he looks great here.  That's (IMO) She-hulk's best look.  Never cared for her outside of JB's handling of her.  Really nice commission.

Excellent work !!! Cap, Thor, Iron Man and the Silver Surfer out !

The last man standing is HULK (the strongest mortal in brute strengh) and his cousin. But I'm afraid against Thanos they have no chance.

Thank you JB for your work !!! I hope you will continue for many and many years !!!

That's a really good She-Hulk, right there! And I love the action 'choreography', too - instead of just being posed in some kind of 'punching' gesture, it's cool how Thanos' forearm-block works both offensively/defensively. Shades of when a bouncer/police officer is trying to fend off a violent thug and then use the momentum to turn the tables and overpower them - it's a logical move, and looks dynamic too.

(which, in less pedantic words, says "fab commission!")

One thing I've always admired about your work is your body language to help tell the story.
Also, I like how you add the description from the commissioner as to what they want. And to that I ask- Are there any particular commission pieces that come to mind that are/were a challenge to you, artistically? From one artist to another

Congrats to the commissioner! A powerful piece that really fills up the
page, and She-Hulk in her FF uniform is always a treat!

I was also pleasantly surprised to see the commissioner reference my
Birthday Bash commission from late last year - I got a kick out of that
and had to show my wife...!

I love seeing Thanos in these commissions! JB, your lack of interest in the character does not come through in the least when drawing him.

••

Most of my lack of interest in Thanos -- aside from the whole Darkseid Lite angle -- springs from his appearance. Apologies to Jim Starlin, but I just find the character, well, goofy looking.

****

It always kinda irked me that Thanos gained popularity on the coat tails of the NEED to compare him to Darksied. When his true "twin" at DC was Mongul.

They are both more intergalactic thugs, where Darksied is and has always read as a GOD.

Steve, technically Thanos is a god in similar vernacular, since he is a Titan in the Marvel mythology of things. And it's no secret that Starlin was riffing off of Kirby at the time (I believe he's even indicated as much in interviews himself).

And JB, as a huge Thanos fan, I have to say that, your lack of interest in the character notwithstanding, you capture him perfectly. And I can't help but curse (silently, under my breath like) your Avengers / Avengers West Coast editor(s) for not asking for a Thanos story.
