JB, its on my end. I have an automatic password encryption set up for the forum and it is running anytime I post. I'm having issues settling it down.

I do, sometimes. Between takes, while engineers are doing stuff. Cuts down on frustration due to boredom.

My previous post was a response to Valmor saying that he doesn't read comics while recording music. I don't know how to drop those short quotes in. Any help?

Just cut & paste -- or are you posting from some machine that won't let you do that? (My iPhone won't. It a response is really in need of a quote, I actually type it!)

In my home office, I work in silence.
When I've worked in an office with people, I would listen to music (classical or jazz) in order to block out the surrounding noise.
But even the classical and jazz were selected precisely because it registered as pleasant background rather than outright engaging me. It wasn't the same type of classical or jazz I'd listen to while at home enjoying a drink.
I'm the type of person who focuses on one thing at a time. I'm astounded that people watch TV while chatting on the phone or checking email. When I'm watching someone, I'm watching it completely. Same with music.
Interestingly, I've gotten the professional reputation of being able to work on several things at once but in reality, I just effectively prioritize. If I'm in the middle of an hours-long project and someone asks for something that I know will take five minutes, I will pause the former project to knock out the latter.
