One thing I appreciate with a good Galactus drawing is a sort of look of indifference on his face that shows how he is beyond most everything. This one has it in spades.

I am positive JB could never draw a bad Galactus. This is just perfect. I need to get me a Galactus commission!

Too "cobblestoney" for my taste. I had not yet figured out -- and it would be years before I did -- that the Thing's hide should look like a dry desert floor, not a street in Paris.

(And, yes, I know SOME dry deserts look like cobblestones!)

Don't be too hard on your early Galactus, JB. That one still beats plenty of other pros who have failed at capturing the grandeur of Galactus.
