Great piece! I think I prefer him without the mask.

I think I prefer him without the mask.••• And we know what Stan Lee said about that! When Dave Cockrum showed me the Fang costume he'd designed for Wolverine, I had an immediate negative reaction. Not because, as Dave put it, it would be "a bear to draw," but because there was no mask. Dave had come up with a really interesting face for Logan, and I thought it would be a mistake to have it uncovered all the time. Better to save it for special occasions!

An apt title, BTW. I can see Wolverine delivering a quick little one-liner before leaping in to deliver a serious butt-whoopin' to whomever he just flung the cigar butt towards.

Some serious attitude going on here. This is truly Wolverine personified. You make it very hard for me not to be like so many others and commission one of him.

... to whomever he just flung the cigar butt towards. ••• Hmm... Anybody else interpreting as speed lines what I meant to be a single claw piercing the stogie? Should I add the other claws to make it clear?

Nope, immediately thought it was a single claw. I guess I can see how some people would be confused, though.

Saw it as a single claw as well... perhaps the extended pinkie is confusing Carmen?

I got that it was a single claw upon first viewing.

Single claw, not speed lines.

Damn, along with many here, i too really miss this Wolverine. In my perfect world, JB is more involved with the evolution of Logan and there isn't a backstory like ORIGINS.
Looking at this commission, Logan never looked better.
