I agree, that Marvel Heroes Group shot is mostly wonderful, but WOLVERINE?! Really???

About as bad as making a photo collage of, say, 1960's British Invasion rock bands... and sticking in a shot of the Sex Pistols. Just doesn't fit, or make any sense.

I love Timm's work, but what was he thinking with that one?

The Phoenix is full of energy. And what a classic pose!

Weird to see Bruce's interpretations of my designs. Cool, mind you. But weird.

Looks like Wolverine is covering Wasp and Ant-Man's steed!

A 4-clawed Wolverine? Does Gillette know about this?

Major points to Timm for including the REAL Nick Fury.

That Bruce Timm "poster" was originally the cover of a trade paperback of first appearances published in 1999 & again in 2002.

Wolverine is included because Incredible Hulk #181 was reprinted in the collection.

Love his interpretation of Phoenix.

The Emma Frost does seem to underscore how much her personality has been changed since her original appearance.  Most of the harshness seems to have been buffed off.

I'm sure that a Bruce Timm drawing of JBNM would be a treat for the eyes!
