How neat would it be to find out JB was writing something totally against type? It might cause some fanboy heartattacks if they find out their favorite Vertigone title is written by some 'superhero' writer they despise.

It doesn't read like a joke to me. I think JB's storytelling is
excellent and even if he is not drawing a book I really want to
check it out.
Ah, another fun mystery for the JBF. I'm going to guess Green

Has anyone actually seen Geoff Johns and JB in the same room? I don't really expose myself to much 'mainline' DC product that isn't done by Simone/Johns/JB, but like Todd asks up-thread...has anyone been reading a title that made you think JB might be writing it?

Although I can see it being a joke and will have no problem if it is,
in fact, a joke, I took it seriously too. To find out which, if
it's true, look for a writer writing only one or two books.

If it were true (and I doubt it), it should be easy enough to figure out just by seeing what DC titles haven't missed a ship date in the last year.

I always assumed that most late books were due to the artist, not the writer.

Outside of J.D. Finn on Action and Christos N. Gage on Deadshot I'm pretty familiar with most of the writers that have worked on DC books for more than a year. Add the Scooby Doo and Power Puff and JLU titles as unkowns as well.
