No one ever does. It's hard enough for us at our younger age to deal with sicknesses that're nowhere near as bad as this. Hearing what my father once told me about the uncle whose stroke had him bedridden, I can imagine that your father feels that everything is normal (which isn't the case).

We visited the Neurologist today, we only have to follow up with a MRI in two weeks.  The scan today showed that the brain is back in place and is not compressed on the left side.
