Fantastic Four #232 always holds a special place in my heart.  A great beginning to an incredible run of stories.

"Aftermath", from MARVEL TWO-IN-ONE # 100.
Sort of a 'What If They Did An Issue Of WHAT IF? Without Uatu?': The Thing, his human counterpart from # 50, and the remnants of a Galactus-ravaged 'New Amsterdam', now threatened by another 'old foe'.

The Blastaar/Annihilius story that sequed to the FF in World War II story with Nick Fury. FF-289-292 (I think.)

For me it's the way too short run on Captain America.
Great set of stories and art.

Cheers, Peter

Tough question. I'll go with one that has great sentimental value to me and tells a great story.

MAN OF STEEL.

My favorite is still the story mentioned in the original thread from a few years back: Fantastic Four #236.

At the risk of a thread drift - wouldn't that be the perfect FF movie...?

If multi-issue arcs are in play, then I am going with NEXT MEN, "Scattered".  This is the return of the series which wrapped up the original storyline.  The original run is so good that it seemed impossible to beat, but you captured the spirit of the original series and improved on it, JB.

Fantastic series - check it out by reading the two hardcover trades published by IDW.
