How is the little wolf doing these days?

•••

Vastly improved from the nervous wreck she was when I got her, but still strung pretty taught. She's approaching 4, but the vet still has her on puppy food, to keep her from vibrating the pounds away.

I live in Southern Ontario (not far from Detroit) and we have about 3 or 4 inches of snow right now.

Gwynn seems to be looking for her puppy toy!  Hope the snowy weather does not force a cancellation of the piano lessons on Tuesday.

Well, I'll be hitting the keys either way! I do for about an hour a day.

Looks like we're lined up for another one. Funny, because my area was looking at a balmy 47F. They're now predicting the I-95 Corridor between Philadelphia and Baltimore to get a mix changing over to all snow, with a wide range of totals from 6 to 14 inches before it ends Tuesday. Whatever ends up happening, my brother and me are going to be quite busy digging our dad out so he won't have another nasty surprise with an icy driveway.

Like Andrew said, it's been a very mild winter in the Pacific Northwest and it was a fabulous day today! I even had to mow last week.
I hope the nice weather continues.

Boy, am I jealous of you WA people. We are expected to get anywhere from 1 to 2 feet of snow over the next 24 or so hours. Welcome to PA!

At the present time, the Mid-Atlantic U.S. is slated to have the snow move in today at around Noon, or so they said. It was originally forecast to do so overnight, then got ramped up to a near-blizzard that would hang around through tomorrow. That was before the Weather Channel local scaled it back, though it'll still be an average snowfall (@ 8" max). I'm really starting to get tired of the PANIC!PANIC! reporting on weather events like this.

"Historic" snowstorm, my arse! I lived and worked through three of 'em back in '09-'10.

'They' are saying 100% chance of precipitation in Nova Scotia tomorrow -- and it's set to be a good old winter storm, 90km/h winds, heavy snow and near-zero visibility at times. That's the forecast; soon see how it pans out.

I had a dentist's appointment set for tomorrow and rang them to reschedule, feeling a little silly, and they told me they were in the process of cancelling all appointments for tomorrow as they were shutting because of the weather...
