Fair enough…. but I've always tried to take things for what they are, especially in this medium.

Klaus Janson's contributions have been criminally unacknowledged, IMO.

The guy is a giant...his books on penciling and inking comics are AMAZING.

I like DK2. Seriously!

Tony Millionnaire's blurb on the sleeve of the collection really drives home the point: "a comic that looks like some guy drew it with markers and his GF colored it on her iMac".

It's got memorable scenes, like the Atom petri dish prisoner sequence.

The two of them did so much pages together indeed;
Don't get me started on the two of them, I can't get enough of this team; Black panther (a while back) was a killer book, Wolverine was non stop in your face action artwork, Spider-Man was great (better than when John was inked by Scott Hanna) and now Superman has some great explive pages by the golden team

Klaus has been JRjr's inker of choice for the last few years, JB. Other than Tom Palmer, I can't think of another that's inked him in quite a while.

Interesting. I will have to take a look.

Personally, if JRjr and Klaus don't get this gig…. I'd enjoy seeing it go to Ron Garney. He is a fantastic storyteller and his style would be refreshing for a current take on Miller's Dark Knight.

There isn't a new Batman story that could hold my interest at this point.  Much less Miller's Batman, with whom I never felt any connection or continuity with "my" Batman.

Here's Romita Jr. and Janson from...about twenty years ago already, from their Batman/Punisher one-shot.
