Very cool commission. JB's super-tech is always fun.

FAROUT!

Very few artists seem to get that Reed has a face, a face recognizable from other characters. And an expression, usually boyishly thrilled at having pulled off his latest gadget.

S'funny how both Reed and Galactus are right at home surrounded by mysterious tech in these pinups.

There aren't very many people who can do Reed really good. Even fewer who could compare to Jack Kirby. JB you are most definitely on that short list.

Very nice work. I can see the glow in the device. Great gadgetry and I dig the fun, excitement and wonder of the drawing.

This one made me wonder if all the photo-manip work JB's been doing lately is contributing to make his faces more photo-realistic..!

Awesome commission by all means!!!

Wow! Thanks JB :)
I'm happy to say this is my commission. Fantastic work! Two FF characters down, two to go!

Love that incredible looking gizmo Reed is holding ,too!
(I'm going with Jim Petersman's excellent explanation as to its function)

Thanks again JB - it's a huge thrill for me to commission FF characters from you, as I first discovered your work, in the FF series, back in 1984.
And your FF run is my personal favourite of your stellar career.

Btw is the dedication on the original?
Cheers!

Ah, so I am not the only one who has noticed this!

Yes, it would seem all my clipping and cutting of Shatner, Nimoy, Kelley, Doohan, etc, has had the effect of adding a little extra something to the way I construct heads and faces.
