Are there any good online retailers to order from in Canada? Using American services like DCBS is cost prohibitive when one factors in shipping and the exchange rate. Amazon & Indigo offer many tpbs and hcs but the discounts aren't very substantial in most cases.

You guys are lucky! Down here in far North Queensland this tome, after exchange rate and freight, will set you back Aus$175 even.

Chief, you better have a beer for me when the royalty cheque from my order comes in...

Cheers!

Ordered & thanks for the tip off to the discount.

Just got my JB Avengers ominbus so I'll have plenty of JB to get me through the dreary horribleness that is February.

Mine arrived yesterday! The cover is the recolored cover for Alpha Flight #1, without word balloons, same as the Alpha Flight Classic #1 trade paperback, and not the silhouette version that Amazon is showing for the Omnibus. Besides the complete issues reprinted in the Omnibus, there are shorter excerpts from other issues. Vindicator's cameo appearance from Fantastic Four 220 is included. Dr. Langkowski's appearances in Fantastic Four are included. There are also some Marvel Age articles and covers, artwork by JB and others for posters, subscription ads, house ads, trade paperback covers, etc. JB's covers for Alpha Flight 81 and 82 are included. Official Marvel Handbook artwork is included. It's a very thorough volume.

It's been a long time since I've read this, looking forward to lots of reading when the omnibus arrives. Hmm binge reading, like binge watching a TV series? Can't wait.

I don't think I was prepared for just how thick and heavy this would be. It's a gorgeous book and I'm thrilled to finally read a few stories I have missed out on.  A little odd that all the origin stories are placed between AF 1 and 2, but that's how I'll read them this time around.
