We can CGI Jeffrey Dean Morgan to play Puck. It'll be downright Mantlo-vian.

X-Flight? Seriously?!
There's probably a potentially good X-Men / AF film that could feature Vindicator's debut appearance in the first act and the full team's first appearance in the third, but of course, given the mess that has been made of every single X-Men plot line when brought to the screen, it would never go in that direction.
In fact, I would be bet money on the team not even being Canadian.

And why the autographed pic of Gene Day?
(At least that's what I think it says)

At the end of Alpha Flight #1, the team debated changing the team name when Puck made it quite clear that he wanted the team to remain Alpha Flight.
JB, you've said before that Alpha Flight was not the name you had in mind for the team. When you signed on as writer/artist for the regular series, did you consider changing the name of the team at that point? Do you think Marvel would have allowed a name change?

When I created the team (or most of them) in my fan days, the were called "The Canadian Shield" after the mountain range tha brackets James and Hudson bays. Obviously Marvel would not go for that, just as they would not go for Mac's original name, "Guardian".(Lacking a name, people around the office started calling him "Major Maple Leaf". And we know how that turned out!)
