Ted, how cool is that for your students?!? I do hope they have a good time as well. I would get a sketch, that is, if they weren't charging Jim Lee money! What fun!!!

Hope to see some Comic Art Con pics here, but until then, here are some from today's Great Philadelphia Comic Con (beginning with Michael Golden)!

Speaking of cons, Jim Warden saw this at the New Jersey comic art convention. The owner had apparently acquired it believing it to be my work, and asked Jim for confirmation. Jim sent this shot of it to me and, unfortunately, I had to say it was not mine. The artist did catch most of my tropes, tho. I texted to Jim that I should probably hire the guy to ghost for me -- in 1978!!

JB- I suspect that art may be by Victor Bridges, who did some comics for Erik Larsen in the 90's aping your style.
Specifically, the ears, chin, and leg muscles look like his work to me.

I'd bet money that's Vic Bridges. He comes close to JB from the past, but only in the figures. This piece doesn't look like a JB layout to me, mainly because it isn't as symmetrical as it should be and the perspective is a little wonky with the chair. JB is a master of perspective.
Don't get me wrong, I like it because it reminds me JB art, and I'd be happy to have it, but it ain't a Byrne.
