I remember one of Shooter's earliest Bullpen Bulletins had a picture of him wearing a cowboy hat, captioned with the initials, 'J,S.', as he wrote an accompanying paragraph as if he were a J.R. Ewing-type evil businessman.(The next month, to show his 'softer side', he turned over part of the column to Louise Jomes(not yet Simonson), who discussed what was going on with the X-Men...and she even took a turn at wearing the hat.
