Okay, who wins?

I have discussed this scenario many times since childhood. My view has remained consistent.

I feel that, if Batman has a plan, and can surprise Spider-Man, the Dark Knight beats the web-slinger; if, however, Spider-Man surprises Batman, and leaves him little time to come up with anything other than a spontaneous plan, then everyone's friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man wins.

They are certainly both equal when it comes to motivation and being driven during a fight.

Over to you.

Definitely Batman. Dissolve webbing, produce Bat-device that messes up the spider sense and then beat into submission.

Who's publishing the story?

•••

Asking that pretty much negates the whole point of the thread.

I like that.

I'm picturing the scene of Batman, in the Batcave, examining webbing and working on that device.

I'm not arguing that Batman would prevail, but this last bit surely would be a lot easier said than done!

Skill vs raw ability, discipline vs recklessness, both
intelligent, wisdom vs youth.

Those factors are really interesting, hence why I can't predict it.

I'll go with Spider-Man. Stronger, faster, more agile.
