Stephen, my old job was manufacturing that DC Power equipment!

I am a Business Operations Manager for a touchscreen manufacturer now.

Network Engineer AKA "The guy who makes sure the internet doesn't crash".

Before that, I was a Theatre Technician / Stage Manager and before that I was a Graphic Designer.

It's been a long, weird trip.

Character & concept designer in the Animation Industry since
2001. Going on 10 years at Warner Brothers Animation-
Young Justice, about half of the DC Comics Direct to Video
movies done in that time, Classic Bat-Man 66 movies, Mike
Tyson Mysteries series, Scooby Natural, Superman 75th
Anniversary short......

King of the Hill and Ben 10 before that as well as a year at
StanLeeMedia which bridged my meager comic book and
more fruitful animation career.

I also have a website where I sell the artwork I create outside
of work. Star Trek, Next Generation, The Orville, Sci-Fi &
Superheroes of the 70's, and more pop culture icons to come!

I wish there was a LIKE button here on the ByrneRobotics
site, because I would have clicked every single persons reply
in front of mine, what a diverse group of individuals!

Sub-Category: What would you call your job if you were being pretentious? For instance, I might dub myself a "fantasy environment manipulator".

I might call myself a "Jurisprudential Praeceptor."

[Note the pompously proper Latin orthography]

I have been an educator for the past 22 years and an
administrator for the past 15. I am currently the
principal of a middle school in New Jersey, but the
coolest job I ever had was in the Army. Sometimes I
wish I would have stayed in 20 years and done this
afterward. Combined with college and all the travelling
I did back then, I liked to consider myself an
International Man of Mystery, but honestly, I'm just a
big comic book fan and a long-time member of the John
Byrne Forum :-)

Sub-category: biggest misconception about your job?

Folk think EVERY penny of a cabbie's fare is pure profit. Well, there's the fuel, public liability insurance, maintenance, etc. Plus various fees to the council for the privilege of operating.

Hmmm, I'll have to think about the pretentious title. I'm used to jokey ones such as "Picture Tosser" or "Vidiot"!

Oh, boy, there are SO many misconceptions about my job. Even fans who fancy themselves to be "experts" seem oblivious to the actual process.
