Had the jab last Thurs and my left arm still feels like someone punched it.

On the bright side, my super powers should manifest themselves pretty soon. Fingers crossed for invisibility.

Both times the sore spot on my arm lasted only a couple of days, with no other noticeable side effects.

I imagine they'll look at it, and halt the pause.  It is, so far, six cases out of seven million.

And meanwhile we can add a few MILLION to those who won't go near the vaccines for fears both irrational and now rational.

America’s changing attitudes toward vaccines is a portrait of the general plunge in intelligence that has infected this country.

Intelligence?

Who needs it these days?

FaceBook University (F-U) is all I need.

I believe a lack of science education has given way to generations of anti-science/anti-vax people.  Both my children - ages 34 and 36 - are anti-vac, and very, very hesitant to get vaccinated, yet seem to have no problem going to restaurants/bars/etc.  When I was vaccinated last week, the nurse giving me the vaccine, and I talked.  I told her I'd sure like to get my children in to get the shot.  She said she had to bribe her son, with $100, to get him to get his.  Her son, and mine, were the same age, as were she and I (64).

Same thing in the UK - too many people are proudly letting it be known
they will not be taking the vaccine.

Just got Moderna #2. As I emotionally overreact to every escalating ache and chill I'm reminded of this classic scene from Airplane!

I finally have an appointment made (May 18) for my first
Pfizer-BioNTech shot (man I love including the BioNTech
bit - makes it sound like I'm getting some kind of sweet
cybernetic implant), with a second appointment set for a
distant three months after. I'm hopeful that second
appointment will change and be moved closer as more
doses are shipped to my province.
