The Alice Cooper band broke up after the Muscle of Love album in 74, after that Alice Cooper was just the one person. Kip Winger played in Alice's band during the Constricter tour in 85. I actually saw that tour. And yes I am a huge Alice Cooper fan : )

That was the album that cemented me as an Alice Cooper fan.  The Man Behind The Mask tie-in to Friday the 13th movies was pretty cool.

And just to attempt to swing back into semi-on-topic territory: Didn't Marvel do an Alice Cooper comic series back in the 70's?

Since there are Alice Cooper fans here, I have to announce that he has been here doing pop, go to a-teens.com / photo archive / 2002 and see Alice doing pop with Swedish band A-teens. (Actually, he recorded just his School's out singing with them for a song on their CD).

Oh, Alice has always had a pop element to his stuff -- listen to "Only
Women Bleed" or "How You Gonna See Me Now."

On The Inside is my personal favorite Alice Cooper album -- love the
song "Millie and Billie."

Mr. Byrne,

I found your explaination from the original question very helpful in understanding the characters better while rereading the series.  This brought another question to mind.  Since Superman's parents were a link to his "human" side and acted as his "getaway from reality"; how do yo feel this would work differently for Batman?  It does explain the difference between the two charaters, which I felt was explained brillantly in the Action Comics annual you did years ago.  If you could "reimagine" the origin of Batman what would you change?

Thanxs
Jeff

From the Inside is also my favorite album, I also really like his "lost" albums from the early 80's (Flush the Fashion, Special Forces, Zipper Catches Skin, and Dada) The reason I call them lost is because they have been pretty much overlooked.

And as far as I know that was the only Marvel Alice Cooper comic. Though Rock and Roll comics had one awhile back, but I though it was pretty bad.

Also Alice has a new album coming out in June (I think) called Dirty Diamonds.
