How long has it been since I last saw the Thing so properly drawn and enriched with all those details of his rocky hide (not to mention the carefully drawn shadows!)?

Incredible page. The Thing is simply jaw-dropping. Magnificent.

That is my favorite drawing of the Thing ever. Just incredible.

If I had to choose amongst my children, as far as ELSEWHEN is concerned I think I’d probably pick the splash page of issue 8 as my favorite of my own drawings of the Thing.

 | Taken overall I’d still go for that shot of him in the back of the cab, from whichever issue of FF that was.

Wednesday became a lot less mundane. Thanks, JB.

Me: That's an awesome splash; I think today's page gives it a lot of competition!
**** Taken overall I’d still go for that shot of him in the back of the cab, from whichever issue of FF that was.

Me: One of my all-time favorite shots of the Thing. It says so much about Ben's personality and the limitations of his body. And it's so damn well drawn (I happened to be looking at The Trial of Galactus TPB just last night)! |

JB,I'll take any and all pics of Mama Grimm's blue-eyed boy you draw, but my favorite is the one that hangs in my den, when you took your hand at making him "more monstrous."

Your ELSEWHEN continues to be the gift that keeps on giving!!

Went and looked it up and yeah, that last page of #8 is a darned sweet image of Benjamin J. Grimm.

As much as I hate to see less JB Spidey, I wish this was a full-page splash. It's gorgeous  - the shadows on the Thing, Magneto vs Nightcrawler, the public running for cover, the buildings behind, Doombot on fire.
