Saw a comment referring to ELSEWHEN as “old Byrne work.”With a fifty+ year career behind me, it seems like commentators might want to exercise a little caution when using a word like “old”! I started posting these pages in June 2019. That doesn’t feel “old” to me. Mind you, directly following the above was a comment declaring I use the JBF only to “spew hatred and vitriol,” so I guess it’s Eye of the Beholder time!

Spewing hatred and vitriol is akin to injecting empty calories. Often feels
good, but we are worse off for it. I’ve never witnessed this place as being a
forum for that.

Re-reading this work and I get that familiar feeling I've had for so many decades whenever I pick up a JB piece. That pure satisfaction of seeing something done the way it should be, I don't know if there's an English word for that so I'm just going to call it "byrnifaction".

Completely agree...but most haters don't realize this, are they are also too ignorant to even understand the word "portmanteau". They just live hate filled existences created by their own echo chambers.
I wish more would learn from the wisdom of Jesus "judge not" or MLK "content of their character" than fill their mind with hate filled posts from ignorant internet trolls.
