I am loving every panel of this - the series gets better and better.
I really dig the whole alt-team, and having Wanda and Pietro there adds the dysfunctional Magneto Family dynamic to make it even more compelling.

Cripes, this Magneto is hella arrogant.  Turning his back on (and seemingly ignoring) the rest of the mutants as if they bear no threat, no sense of consequence.

Fits a pattern, given what we've seen so far.

Od’s Beard!! What a page! Guess we know now why the design of M- Cyclops’s helmet was important. And still enough to keep us guessing as to which Magneto survived.
The shading of him blasting Magneto is magnificent as it is on X- Cyclops and Xavier. You’re really doing things with shading in this series I’ve not really seen before and I feel it’s the best of your career.

Another great page! I love the last panel with the Scarlet Witch. It really looks like she is about to unleash her powers on Alt-Magneto.

Eep. Lucky the visor lens is ruby to start with. That is nasty.

I thought I knew which Magneto it was, but what I thought is now not what I think. I'm still not sure!

I thought I had which Magneto all figured out. After all, when Magneto died, the M-Men were freed from their mind control, so it must be Alt Magneto that died, right?

It wasn't until I was driving home from work that I realized that the helmet would also block Alt Magneto's ability to control the M-Men.

 Well played, JB.

JB: She didn’t wear a cape in Africa, when we met her. She didn’t wear much of anything!_______________________________

Yes, that is true, and if I recall correctly, it looked like she had to create a small hurricane to keep her aloft. However, I guess the whole point is moot with the mohawk outfit.

The point was “moot” as of GSXM 1. Unless you think Dave drew it wrong.

Ok, where is this "Storm needs a cape to fly" or "She needs a cape to control her flight" nonsense coming from, anyway?

I will repeat something I've repeated a few times on the boards already: This past year I re-read all the X-Men comics from the very first issue all the way through JB's run, and this includes cross-overs, and guest appearances in other titles. And I had read all the X-Men comics from the beginning through the 2000s originally years ago. Never had I read anything that said Storm's cape had anything to do whatsoever with her flight. It's a fashion accessory, that's it.

This reminds me when, as a child, I would have to listen to other kids say that Superman needed a cape to fly. Um... okay... but, no.
