I'm impressed with how even in black and white you get the effect of a burst of light on the non-transported characters at the bottom.
I may be daft, but I still feel we can't be certain of which Magneto this is.

As to why Magneto had never done that before, I have an image in my head of Magneto noticing Guardian pulling that stunt (thanks to his mutant powers, he'd feel the disruption in the Earth's magnetic field) and then thinking, "Why didn't I think of that?".
And then never admitting it to anyone.

That is one psychotic looking squirrel that would make me turn and head the other way. Run fox, run!

I was wondering how this issue would end. It was looking like it might bring a moment of rest for our heroes, or another cliffhanger. Looks to me to be a little of both.
